We are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor, with projects in Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe. Dornan are working with clients across multiple sectors, including Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Microelectronic, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Education and Energy from Waste.
We’ve grown a lot since we opened for business back in 1966. It’s been steady growth, adding new capabilities and specialisms, expanding into Europe and the UK, growing our reputation as we took on and successfully completed bigger, more challenging and more prestigious projects.
But we are and always will be a big family – a private business rather than one controlled by outside investors – and that means we remain free to keep it friendly and look out for each other. Most of the people we recruit stay with us for a substantial part of their career, because they’re at home here.

Our process

Your application will be shortlisted by our Talent Acquisition Team and the Hiring Manager. If your application is successful at shortlisting, you will hear from one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists for a telephone screening.

If you are successful at screening stage, you will be invited for interview with the Hiring Manager and with a member of the Talent Acquisition or HR Team. There may be a second or third round of interviews, depending on the role

If you are successful at interview stage, we will complete our pre-employment checks, which includes getting references and checking your qualifications

If your pre-employment checks are successful, an offer will be made to you and onboarding will begin!
