Dornan are currently accepting expressions of interest for upcoming Student Placement positions in Summer 2025.
Dornan recruit for second and third year students from various disciplines to be based on projects in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Mainland Europe. We are a leading specialist contractor with projects across many sectors such as Hyperscale Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Commercial.
As a student, you will be given a fantastic insight into construction with a leading company. You will be placed on project sites with experienced professionals and will work on projects for prestigious global clients.

We are now looking at summer placements for the below disciplines.
- Electrical Engineering
- Building Services Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Level 7 or Level 8 Degree qualification in the related discipline.
Experience/Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills, especially with MS Office Suite
